Site where Lost Orders were Found | Additional Description: Just to the west of the railroad is a rise where based on first hand accounts, First Sergeant John M. Bloss and Corporal Barton Warren Mitchell of the 27th Indiana Infantry found an envelope containing a copy of Orders No. 191. At the time of the war, a station house stood here, and was known as Monocacy Junction.
