White's Ford | Additional Description: Looking from the Maryland side towards Virginia. The site was frequently used for crossings by the armies during the Civil War. The Virginia side is not directly accessible and on private property. The Maryland side is in the Dickerson Conservation Park, and adjacent to the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historic Park.
