Additional Description: The small village of Pendleton became the second home for the Calhoun fmaily when John C. Calhoun made Fort Hill Plantation (now on the campus of Clemson University) his new home in the early 1830s. St. Paul's cemetery holds the remains of dozens of members of the Calhoun family.
