Caption: Battery Position Marker on the Upper Crest of Culp's Hill
Additional Description: Although the marker states "July 3," it was on July 2 that a section of two 10-pdr Parrots under Lieutenant Edward R. Geary was posted on Culp's Hill along with a section of Battery K, 5th U.S. Artillery. From this position, the guns fired upon Confederate artillery on Benner's Hill.
