Founding of Irapuato Marker | Additional Description: The marker can be seen here in front of a statue. The statue has no inscription, but it is similar to other statues in the region dedicated to Bishop Vasco de Quiroga, founder of many towns in the area and an early Spanish missionary. The Templo del Hospitalito can be seen in the background to the north.
