Caption: An additional nearby marker for the Manuel Lisandro Barillas Military Brigade
Additional Description: This additional marker is attached near the entrance to the historic Quetzaltenango train station. It commemorated the 30th anniversary of the brigade at this location in 1975. The military brigade was closed in 2004 and many of its past leaders are accused of torture, kidnapping and murder.
