Plaza del Carmen
Esta fachada y la plaza fueron construidas con fondos del gobierno del estado, administrados por un patronato constituiod por los señores: Francisco Ortuño, Lic. Luis Mancilla Rivera, Felix R. Andres, Leonardo V. Hopper, Luis Falcon Piza y Antonio Herran.
Fue inaugurada por el Sr. Lic. Antonio Rocha
Gobernador Constitucional del Estado
El 25 de agosto de 1973.
Construyeron canteros potosinos, arquitectos Francisco Javier Cossio, Marco Antonio Garfias, Ignacio Algara y el escultor Joaquín Arias.
