Caption: Destruction of the Bianca C Monument
Additional Description: The marker's monument is known locally as the "Christ of the Deep". It was originally sculpted by Guido Galletti in 1954, but this version was cast from the same mold in 1961. It is also known as the "Christ of the Abyss" and was originally placed near this same location but underwater.
