Right Half of the Brigade Position
Photographer: Craig Swain
Taken: November 11, 2008
Caption: Right Half of the Brigade Position
Additional Description: Looking from the General Warren Statue to the north. As stated on the tablet, the 140th New York arrived well in advance of the other three regiments of the Brigade. The 91st Pennsylvania was the next to arrive and deployed on the right of the 140th. Later the 146th New York and 155th Pennsylvania deployed on the right of the 91st. Those last two regiments erected breastworks on the crest of Little Round Top here. The monument for the 155th stands on the right, where that regiment deployed. The 146th New York monument is hidden under by the boulders in the foreground.
