1924 - Sainte Ignace & Mackinaw City (upper left image) | Additional Description: In the summer of 1924, the Highway Department expanded the fleet by purchasing two boats from the federal government. The boats were lengthened so they could carry 40 cars each. One was renamed the
Sainte Ignace, the other
Mackinaw City.
