Old Fort Boise as seen and sketched by Maj. Osbourne Cross. The drawing was included in Cross’ report to the quarter master general, dated Aug. 29, 1849. The fort sat at the confluence of the Snake and Boise rivers northwest of modern day Parma.Submitted: October 20, 2019, by Barry Swackhamer of Brentwood, California.
