Additional Description: English:
”Temple of Science"
The Sussex Drive Laboratories were nicknamed the "Temple of Science" when they opened in 1932. The choice of a neoclassical design harks back to the 18th century, when the foundations of modern science were laid. Construction materials were gathered from across Canada. The interior combines the beauty of art with the functionality of a working laboratory.
