The altar's crucifix at the Temple of the Lord of the Precious Blood of Christ | Additional Description: The Black Christ mentioned in the marker text was not present in the church at the time of this visit, however this crucifix made from corn stalks and paste ('pasta de maíz') was above the altar. This technique is an ancient indigenous method which was applied to crucifix construction starting in the 16th century.
