Caption: Lake Yuriria and San Pedro Island (Fuerte Liceaga)
Additional Description: This island was the scene of a battle during Mexico's War of Independence. It was a hideout spot for insurgents, who printed a rebel newspaper there for a few years before Iturbide, while still fighting for the Spanish, attacked the island.
