Caption: Henry's Battalion Engages the Federal Left
Additional Description: Looking from South Confederate Avenue, past the Slyder farm in the center toward Little Round Top (bare slope to the left) and Big Round Top (to the right). Federal forces on Houck's Ridge in front of Little Round Top were the initial targets of Henry's guns. Later, as the battle evolved, the gunners found targets on Little Round Top as Federal reinforcements arrived.
