Caption:
Battery E, Fourth U.S. Artillery Tablet | Additional Description: Note Big Round Top seen through the trees. At the time of the battle the view was a bit better, with no trees on the crest. When first placed, the monument was flanked by artillery pieces. As this is a seldom visited spot on the field, the guns were moved to more visible locations.
