Marker detail: First Interstate Center for the Arts | Additional Description: The current INB Performing Arts Center started out in 1974 as the Washington State Pavilion for the Expo '74 World's Fair. During the fair, this innovative building hosted hundreds of performances while its glass walls reflected the people, river and pavilions that served as centerpoints for this international environmental event.
