Caption: 2nd Connecticut Light Battery Position
Additional Description: The battery monument is flanked by two 14-pounder James Rifles. Commanded by Captain John W. Sterling during the battle, the battery went into action with four James rifles and two 12-pounder howitzers. No other Federal batteries at Gettysburg were armed with either the James rifles or the howitzers.
