19th Regiment Massachusetts Infantry Position | Additional Description: The left flank marker for the regiment is on the right side of Hancock Avenue in this photo. The 19th stood in support of the artillery batteries engaged in the bombardment of July 3. When the Confederate infantry assault neared the Copse of Trees, the regiment wheeled forward to hit the attackers on the flanks.
