Caption: Battery Field of Fire
Additional Description: This photo was taken during the time the tablet was undergoing maintenance, thus only the "post" is seen to the left of the cannon. Looking past the battery, the ground slopes down to Plum Run. In the misty distance is the high ground beyond where the Emmitsburg crosses. This is the "hill 1000 yards distant" mentioned on the tablet.
