Present Day McMurran Hall | Additional Description: Formerly the town hall and county court house, the building was incomplete at the time of the Civil War. Planks were added and straw brought in to allow for caring of wounded from the Battle of Antietam. The marker is behind the left most column on the exterior wall of the building.
