Kentucky African American Soldiers Monument | Additional Description: The front of the 10-foot pillar reads: "In Memory of the Colored Soldiers Franklin County, Kentucky Who Fought in the Civil War 1861-1865." It was erected by the Women's Relief Corps No. 8, an auxiliary of the Grand Army of the Republic.
