Additional Description: Women have always spearheaded the greatest efforts to preserve Bowers Mansion. Betty Hood (red skirt, white sweater) has led tours since 1965. After over 40 years of service, she retired in 2009. She is remembered fondly for her colorful stories and bright red pumps.
