61st Ohio Infantry Position on July 2 and 3 | Additional Description: Looking past the Regiment's left flank marker stone toward the town of Gettysburg. The regiment was one of several which were aligned on the north slope of Cemetery Hill on July 2 and 3. In front and to the left of the 61st were portions of Smith's Brigade. At the time of the battle, this was open field.
