Caption: 106th Pennsylvania Skirmish Line
Additional Description: In the afternoon of July 2nd, the 106th Pennsylvania maintained a skirmish line on the west side of Emmitsburg Road. This view looks from the road to the west toward Seminary Ridge, with the Virginia State Memorial visible. The regiment's skirmish line pushed forward about half way to the far tree line.
