Additional Description: Home of Middleburg’s Civil War Mayor Lorman Chancellor, a close friend of John Mosby. On March 8, 1863, Mosby ate dinner here prior to his acclaimed Fairfax Courthouse Raid. The house is located at 301 East Washington Street.
