Additional Description: Looking west from a point near the monument. Looking through the trees, in the center right is the intersection of South Confederate Avenue and the Emmitsburg Road. The Confederate forces withdrew from the valley in front of Big Round Top late on July 3, reforming on Seminary Ridge west of Emmitsburg Road.
