112 M.L. King Avenue Marker | Additional Description: 112 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave. is the former home of the Bell Family who provided lodging for the supporters of the civil rights efforts. One of them was J.T. Johnson longtime aide of Dr. King, who took part in the famous swim-in at the Monson Motor Lodge Pool when the manager poured acid into it.
