Caption: Munroe Tavern
Additional Description: Brigadier General Earl Percy, who led one thousand troops to reinforce the British soldiers retreating from the fighting in Concord, made this tavern his headquarters on the afternoon of April 19, 1775. The tavern also served as a field hospital for the British.
