They are (left to right): Sgt. Thompson, Cordell, Sidlow, Crow, Howland, unidentified, Hunt, Irvin, Bean, and Jesse Garver, Larned, Kansas. The men were mustered in September 1899 at Fort Leavenworth. The regiment participated in 144 skirmishes and battles between 1899 and 1901.
