Additional Description: The choice of "Tragic Week" for the cover would have resonance in Catalonia as the phrase would be widely understood there to describe the events of the last week of July, 1909, where there were numerous violent clashes between the Spanish army and various groups that were protesting the calling up of reserves to fight in the Second Rif War.
