Additional Description: Southward view. The memorial plaque is not shown; it is on the side of the cement bridge corner that faces The Skirmisher statue. The plaque shown is one of the four Men of Broome memorial plaques. The steel bridge at center is the South Washington Street Bridge, over the Susquehanna River, which is closed to vehicular traffic. This area of greenspace, also behind the bridge corner, is Confluence Park.
