Additional Description: The September 19, 1940 edition of The Greenville Sun ran this advertisement announcing a final sale of St. Francis Hotel furnishings, held the following Saturday. The same edition of the paper ran a lengthy article detailing Susan Scott-Watson's forty years as a hotel operator and leading figure in Greenville while announcing her retirement.
