Additional Description: This bronze statue, erected in 2006, pays tribute to the men who worked the oil field of Southern California. It is located in a small park overlooking the western portion of Signal Hill and Long Beach. The park is at the intersection of Skyline & Dawson Sts. Alamitos 1 oil well is located 2 blocks north of this site.
