Spanish-American War 1898-1902 Monument | Additional Description: This statue, by American Theo Alice Ruggles Kitson (1871 - 1932), was recast more than 50 times and erected in town squares and cemeteries across the nation. It's officially called "The Hiker," which was the moniker given to Spanish-American War veterans.
