Additional Description: Unlike the smaller 12-pdr Howitzers, the reinforce of the 24-pdrs stopped short of the base ring, leaving a section of smaller diameter near the breech. This particular piece was produced by Quinby & Robinson of Memphis, Tennessee in 1862. It has the registry number of 35.
