Caption: Marker detail: Thalian Hall Thunder Roll Diagram
Additional Description: • Holds about 8 iron 6” diameter balls.
• Once ball is released, box falls back into place and the next ball falls into the cutout slot in the bottom of the trough.
• The Thunder Roll is composed of a series of troughs approx. 8’ x 10’ built from hand hewn heart pine.
• There seems little doubt the Thunder Roll was installed when the Theatre was constructed.
