Additional Description: One of the pieces happens to be registry number 1 (seen at the bottom of the muzzle). It was inspected by William Maynadier (W.M.) in 1841 after being cast by Cyrus Alger of Boston, Massachusetts. The howitzer weighed 1,323 pounds.
