Marker detail: 1857 Courthouse Demolition | Additional Description: James T. Relf recorded the demise of the 1857 courthouse as it was pulled down in March of 1903 to make way for the new courthouse.
Upper left: Men sit on the wooden fluted columns and survey the north-facing entrance in its altered state.
