Pittsfield Veterans Memorial - Architect of Record was George Bridges Howe | Additional Description: George Bridges Howe was an MIT trained Massachusetts architect and engineer and assisted in the design of the Pittsfield WW1 Memorial. He also coordinated with the sculptor on several of the artist's other memorial works. The photo is of an article from The North Adams Transcript, July 9, 1926, Page 5, a day after the memorial's dedication ceremony.
