Additional Description: This photo taken during the 1880s shows a house on the southwest corner of Court and Water Street, first home of early banker Horace Weiser, wife Louisa, and family. The Decorah Light Guards drill in the foreground. The building on the corner, 301 W. Water Street, replaced the house.
