Ninth Regiment New York State Marker on May 1, 1911 | Additional Description: The plaque can be seen in this Library of Congress photo of the Annual Socialist and Labor Union Parade on May 1, 1911. It is located to the left of the entrance perpendicular to the main street. It is currently to the right of the entrance way.
The legible portion of the signs being carried show the number "146." This is a reference to number of people killed in the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire of March 1911.
