Caption: Savannah River Memorial Bridge Dedication Postcard
Additional Description: This bridge which once spanned the Savannah river and connected Calhoun Falls, South Carolina with Elberton, Georgia, is now under the waters of Lake Russell. Prior to the bridge, the only way to cross the Savannah from either city was by ferry.
