Additional Description: Twenty-fourth Site on the Historical Sites of Abbeville Tour The home was built for the owner's grandfather in the Italianate style on the site of an earlier house that burned. Armistead Burt spent the last years of his life in this house with the Robertsons, relatives of his wife. Note South Carolina's oldest and largest redwood tree in the front yard.
