Igreja de Nossa Senhora do Rosario dos Pretos - near the Zumbi Dos Palmares monument | Additional Description:
Located in a district then notorious as a place of torture for intransigent and rebellious Africans - the famous blue-colored church was established in 1704 for ministering to the colony's African residents ("Pretos"), exclusively.
