Corn Crib and Stone Barn
Photographer: Craig Swain
Taken: July 7, 2007
Caption: Corn Crib and Stone Barn
Additional Description: In the foreground is a corn crib, now used as a wagon shed, probably constructed in the 1870s. The open bay construction allowed corn to be stored in the sides, but allow circulation.
In the background is a stone barn built in the 1790s. Remarkable in appearance, somewhat more European than other barns in the area.
