Additional Description: Site of the monument in Cave Hill National Cemetery. The text on the rust-colored wooden sign reads: The National Cemetery Administration removed the Bloedner Monument from this site in December 2008 for conservation and stabilization treatment so future generations can appreciate this unique Civil War artifact.
