Benjamin Franklin Harrison
Born in 1811, established a medical practice in
Wallingford in 1836. Dr. Harrison was commissioned
during the Civil War as Surgeon to a New York regiment
at Yorktown, VA. Known as
"Les Enfants Perdus" or
"The Lost Children"
And served until 1864
This park land was donated
by his wife,
