Caption: The Prattville Mercantile and Autauga Banking & Trust Building
Additional Description: This Building was built in 1855 by Daniel Pratt. The back upstairs room served as his personal office and bank. "Autauga Banking and Trust." Downstairs was his company store "Prattville Mercantile." In the late 1940's downstairs was remodeled and changed into "V.J. Elmore's Five * Dime Store." In the 1980's it was a rec room for local teens called "Steve's Disco."
