Caption: Cast Iron Sign
Additional Description: To the left of the door is this cast iron sign from the old Brookfield - Bridgewater Bridge, built by the Berlin Iron Bridge Company. It spanned the Housatonic River. The bridge was replaced in 1955 when the river was dammed, forming Lake Lillinonah.
